Here is the Dr Robin G Field 2019 Wildflower survey report which covers the ‘dried up ponds’ near to the barn.

Please take a look at the 2019 report, and here is short summary of the key information.
- Another year of additional species identified.
- Greater numbers and density of plants now found. A good example is the spread of cowslips which has more than doubled in the last two years.
- There has been no planting carried out in these areas, just simple management of cut and remove in the autumn, allowing nature to do the rest.
- There is now evidence of greater diversity and populations of butterflies, and moths in the area.
